Christmas is ALLOVER in the air!!!

Ohh my! Do I ever love this time of year! My son's birthday party was this weekend. The fresh vanilla cupcakes smell competed with the pumpkin spice and apple cider candles. It was a nice, warm birthday atmosphere here. I have been in full swing with family photographs as well as Christmas shoots. My best friend from highschool, Andrea and I concocted a "Christmas Eve" photo of her girls. In bed, reading stories, sipping hot cocoa... I think they brought a good "story" to the picture. Those are the kinds of photos i really enjoy creating. The art of the photograph. But the real "be yourself" feels just as good, not posed, not thought out. Its the perfect mix. I LOVE the mix of feelings in the photographs. Tell me your thoughts. What do you think of the photo?

Miss Keeleigh

Miss Keeleigh... What a sweetheart. She's quiet, and softspoken. She does however have a small little inner DIVA in her..and I think you can see it in her little DIVA outfit!! Check out this DOLL!!!

The Dewey's!

The Dewey's. What a two word whole sentence. I love these people. REALLY! Andrea Dewey, is my very best friend from highschool. And she has a super awesome husband: Matt...and three, yes count them, THREE girls! Poor Matt is all my husband can say :) We got together to do their first family photo since they have been a complete family. And let me just tell you, we had a blast! These pictures are their lives. Un posed, and raw. I LOVE them (pictures, and family!!) Enjoy!!

Brandi & Brody: LOVE

I had the pleasure of tagging along in a downtown stroll with Miss Brandi and her Brody. I must say I was just a tad envious of the love they breath. Every step was a funny joke, a silly song, a cherishable kiss and the occasional dance and twist. I had so much fun capturing their moments. Check out these pictures, I PROMISE you too will feel their love!

A dress-up Tea Party!

I had this vision several weeks ago of some little girls in a valley between mountians playing dress up and having a tea party... And who better to do this then two little country girls. My friend Sarah's little girls Anna Mae and Aubry are the CUTEST little things. I pulled out that suitcase full of necklaces and bracelets and boa's...and their eyes just lit up! We had such a fun time. I want to just do these kinds of shoots all the time! You guys Enjoy the faces and the grins and the serious wonder in their eyes. I sure do!!

The leaves have changed...

The last month has been filled with some amazing family shoots. I think the best part of the photography business are the relationships you build! I feel like an extension of each of these families! Watching the babies grow, laughing, even meeting new friends! Thank you so much guys for letting me be a special part of your happy life moments, and treating me like a piece of your family! Check out a few pictures posted from the last few weeks!! Enjoy!
