A dress-up Tea Party!

I had this vision several weeks ago of some little girls in a valley between mountians playing dress up and having a tea party... And who better to do this then two little country girls. My friend Sarah's little girls Anna Mae and Aubry are the CUTEST little things. I pulled out that suitcase full of necklaces and bracelets and boa's...and their eyes just lit up! We had such a fun time. I want to just do these kinds of shoots all the time! You guys Enjoy the faces and the grins and the serious wonder in their eyes. I sure do!!

The leaves have changed...

The last month has been filled with some amazing family shoots. I think the best part of the photography business are the relationships you build! I feel like an extension of each of these families! Watching the babies grow, laughing, even meeting new friends! Thank you so much guys for letting me be a special part of your happy life moments, and treating me like a piece of your family! Check out a few pictures posted from the last few weeks!! Enjoy!

First Fall Photoshoot

These are my dear friend Roxy's little ones. Recognize that guy? That's my football shoot guy, the bulldozer, remember him?? Isn't he just the little ladies man!?! So cute, and SOO polite. He's such a good big brother to his little sister... "Gabbers", at almost 2 has the diva heart of a 16 year old. Its incredible the sass she has! I love it!! Check them out:

Jessica, Beauty in the Rough

I was so excited to start this blog about 2 months ago... I find myself neglecting it, making it the very last of things to fill out...the very last thing to worry about. But here I am. It's crossed my mind to delete it, as it seems like one extra step. I'm going to stay true for now... Let me know if your a reader. I'll keep posting just for you!
Check out Jessica. She's a distant cousin of mine. She's graduated High School. Got a certification in Phlebotomy..and is now in that time in a girls life that's done with one chapter, and is so ready for the next chapter to open. I love her down-to-earth heart and sense of humor. Wonderful, wonderful girl. I think you can see it in her pictures. Tell me your thoughts!

Picture Collage Poll

So, this morning I was messing around with some newly downloaded software for photos and come across a collage maker. Now, it is worth noting that I, more often than not, shy away from templates and pre-made sheets/overlays just because I think they look generic and over used. I am a huge fan of the unique and the never seen before, the plain image. But after making two or three of the collage's just to see the finished product, I feel like I might like to offer these to the family's on the disc's provided to them at the time of proofing. SO, with all that exciting news said.... I'd really like your opinion. You can post it to the blog, or message me via email/facebook. I look forward to your thoughts!!

playing catchup

I feel like I have neglected the blog this week. I have done 5 photo shoots, and haven't posted on any of them. HOWEVER, here I am. I'm almost officially caught up. I'm so excited about today. I have no plans. I have no official shoots. Its the first Saturday since I started Photography. I am going to seriously build my fall background, and work on a plan for xmas card pictures. Advertise that. I so love this. I love pictures, and memories. I love the family times, and the laughs, and the dancing babies and the running children. Holidays are in the air, my friends. I would be honored to help archive the memories!

Check out these pictures: There's the Crisler family with brand new baby Mikah.. The Dutton kiddos...and then there is the Grau family and baby Jilly! I loved every moment with each of these families. This is, after all, why I do what I do. Enjoy!
